Mary Kaye O’Brien, Zillow Director of Consumer Insights
Mary Kaye O’Brien is the director of consumer insights at Zillow and is responsible for the vast majority of Zillow’s research efforts. Mary Kaye has over 25 years of experience helping companies create holistic views of their customers and their brands using a variety of quantitative and qualitative research techniques, and leveraging these insights to help drive decision-making and innovation across aspects of the business. Previously, Mary Kaye was a vice president at Ipsos Research in Seattle, leading consumer research efforts on behalf of many innovative brands. Prior to her work at Ipsos, Mary Kaye was the director of brand and market research at Expedia, Inc. Mary Kaye has a M.A. in Experimental Social Psychology from Drake University and a B.S. in Psychology from University of Iowa. Currently, Mary Kaye is serving on the Executive Advisory Board for the new Master of Science in Marketing Research program at Pacific Lutheran University School of Business.
