Giving back to our community has been one of PSRC's guiding principles since its inception. We believe strongly that although the challenges of homelessness, hunger and finding a cure for cancer may seem insurmountable, together we CAN make a difference.

We are proud and honored to support iUrban Teen and Northwest Harvest through various fund raising events throughout the year.

Please reach out to PSRC Social Responsibility Chair Katie Bahr with any questions about our initiatives
or the PSRC scholarship program.

iUrban Teen

iUrban Teen's mission is to build an educational community rooted in trust, empowerment, inclusivity and community, and to see all historically excluded students succeed, not only in iUrban Teen programs but also in their long-term life goals. iUrban Teen designs and delivers highly sought-after skills training and experiences in STEM industries, and paves pathways that lead students toward economic empowerment and sustainability.

Northwest Harvest

The mission of Northwest Harvest is to provide nutritious food to hungry people statewide in a manner that respects their dignity, while fighting to eliminate hunger. Northwest Harvest receives no city, county, state, or federal funding for operating expenses and relies solely on contributions from individuals, businesses, foundations, and other organizations. Much of their work is made possible by volunteers of all ages, who give 66,000 hours of their time each year to feed the hungry.
